Snapfactory Studio Lighting Playbooks

Happily, much of my time at Snapfactory was spent in the studio, styling and assisting on set. In that time my appreciation for shaping light and achieving a spectacular shot grew with each new project. When it came time to layout and design the Snapfactory Studio Lighting Playbooks, my studio experience influenced each lighting diagram I illustrated and every page I assembled. Of course, working with the excellent source material from photographer Mark Wallace made the job that much more enjoyable.
The playbooks have been assembled according to popular photography styles, each with examples and corresponding lighting diagrams. Icons have been used throughout to call out lighting techniques, lens suggestions, and camera settings. Hero shots were used intermittently to further illustrate specialty techniques and provide interest for the reader. Photos: Mark Wallace Photography
